Level 1 Mentor Training
The Pathwise Framework Induction Program (FIP) is designed to provide experienced teachers with the knowledge and skills to work as trained mentors. Pathwise mentoring is a supportive, formative process based upon a developmental model of teaching. Outcomes of the course include an understanding of Charlotte Danielson’s Framework for Teaching, coaching skills, and the methods and materials for implementing the Pathwise mentoring model. The Pathwise Framework Induction Program combines three essential elements for developing and sustaining teacher quality in support of students learning:
The Pathwise FIP Program now includes the contents of the Pathwise Introduction to the Framework training as part of the five day schedule.
Marty Sorrell-Lacasse is a Music Educator for the Stowe Schools and at Johnson State College, where she is also responsible for the placement and supervision of student interns in music education. She is an accredited ETS Pathwise trainer in the Framework Induction Program, and holds teacher licensure in both music education and special education.
