Lamoille South Supervisory Union, Orleans Southwest Supervisory Union, Wild Branch Solutions and LAPDA have partnered to provide professional development on advance customization of PowerSchool. Matt is a certified PowerSchool trainer from ESSDACK, an education service Center in Hutchinson, Kansas, developer of Matt’s Powerschool web site (http://www.sisresources.com/ps/about.html) and noted contributor to the national powerschool users group.
In this workshop, Matt will cover the basic table structure of PowerSchool, basics of SQL and how to build custom screens using the three types of tlists (tlist, tlist2, tlist_sql - what they are and how to use them), passing values from one page to another using the gpv command, and using if, f. and x. commands in pages.
To be successful at this workshop, participants must have prior knowledge with html coding, and basic customization with Powerschool. This class is limited to a total number of 10 participants.
All participants are required to provide their own laptop for the workshop.
Matt began working for ESSDACK in August of 1997 and prior to that taught high school
computer and business classes for eight years. Matt is one of ESSDACK's technology
specialists. He provides tech support for ESSDACK tech projects, maintains and updates the
Windows servers at ESSDACK, provides tech support for the ESSDACK Learning Centers, and
helps schools with tech support when needed. In the spring of 2005, Matt became a certified
Powerschool trainer and provides Initial Product Training and Powerschool training onsite and at
ESSDACK. He also created and maintains a web site with PowerSchool customizations and
report engine reports he has built at http://www.sisresources.com/ps.
